black and white floral half moon

I really wanted to do another half moon manicure cause its been a while and I thought one wtih stamps would be fun. You just put those binder reinforcements on each of your nails over the cuticle and leave it there while you paint two coats of white polish. Stamp when the polish is dry and then peel off the sticker last. Once its completely dry add the top coat, you can see some smear marks on my flowers. That's because I didn't wait long enough. Make sure you don't touch the nail with the brush either.

This is a fun pattern that could double for stars if you wanted to do like a fourth of july design hmmm Ill keep that in mind :)

Polish: Wet N' Wild French White Creme
Black Konad Special polish for staming
Essie Good To Go topcoat

Stamp: BM 16
Additional: Binder reinforcement stickers

half-moon manicure

I was dressing vintage for a Sunday night at the Cicada club in LA and wanted to do really authentic hair and nails. I found this half-moon manicure that they used to do in the 1940s. I took one of those binder reinforcement stickers and put it over the cuticle and then painted over the nail. I really like the way these came out.

Polish: Butter Fash Pack
