My mom came to visit me for the holiday weekend and every time we see each other I always do her nails. She chose this damask pattern and then I added some rhinestones and pearls on her accent finger. 4th of July nails!--3 different designs!

In celebration of the upcoming holiday my friend Andrea and Jasmin wanted 4th of July themed nails so here they are! We decided to do a different design for each nail to make it fun. So festive! I did mine a couple days later :)

A week ago I blogged about a Sinful Colors Adventure Island which is a dupe for OPI Stranger Tides. My friend Jasmin wanted to try it out with this cool patterned stamp on top it turned out really cute, I love the color combo.

Rumple's Wiggin Mani-UPDATED

So at about day 3 of this mani started to chip on the tips then I saw this blog post about using the partial BM 11 stamp (which I had yet to use) and do them on the diagonal. There are a really pretty leaf pattern with berries and half the size of the full nail pattern stamps. So I covered my chips and have a new mani!

Just saying that name out loud makes me happy! 7:00am and Im getting compliments on my manicure. Ive been crazy with the nails lately so I thought Id tone it down with a simple mani and I really like this lilac color, I have two coats on but could have used a third. Of course I had to do something to my ring finger so I added a flower sticker that I got in a pack from the dollar store for $1.29, cant beat that.

I did Magda's nails last night before the weekly poker game (I dont know how to play Im just learning). She wanted the black and white houndstooth pattern form the Bundle Monster stamp set, it came out great!

TGIF- nails at lunchtime

TGIF Everyone!!! I spent my lunch today at work doing my friends/co-workers nails (second time this week) --the lunch hour is just enough time for a fun mani :)

First are Lauren's nails. She wanted a very feminine manicure and of course loved the bow stickers and wanted them for herself. I added Justin Bieber glitter and heart polish to the other ones.

I love doing my co-workers/friends' nails on our lunch hour every couple of weeks. I came in with my "all that sparkles" manicure and the pink bow stickers were all the rage so I did both Jasmin and Maile's nails with the super cute bow stickers.

I really wanted to do another half moon manicure cause its been a while and I thought one wtih stamps would be fun. You just put those binder reinforcements on each of your nails over the cuticle and leave it there while you paint two coats of white polish. Stamp when the polish is dry and then peel off the sticker last. Once its completely dry add the top coat, you can see some smear marks on my flowers. That's because I didn't wait long enough. Make sure you don't touch the nail with the brush either.

This is a fun pattern that could double for stars if you wanted to do like a fourth of july design hmmm Ill keep that in mind :)

This was the first time I tried doing french tips and it took a really loooong time. I would paint and then go back with the qtip and nail polish remover and clean up the lines but it was worth it. I added a nail sticker that I got in a pack from The Dollar Store (fab place for nail supplies btw).

I still havent used all my stamps in the Bundle Monster set #1 so I wanted to try out a couple stamps, since giraffe and zebra print kinda go together I used them both. I added a shimmer polish on top.
