nail haul-more goodies from Little Osaka

Went back to this cute area in LA for date night with my honey and after an awesome dinner, checked out the store where they have pa and eternal polishes (Japanese brands). He treated me to a couple stickers and a Eternal polish 8J, my first! I love this shimmery champagne color and cant wait to use these stickers.

Rumple's Wiggin Mani-UPDATED

So at about day 3 of this mani started to chip on the tips then I saw this blog post about using the partial BM 11 stamp (which I had yet to use) and do them on the diagonal. There are a really pretty leaf pattern with berries and half the size of the full nail pattern stamps. So I covered my chips and have a new mani!

Just saying that name out loud makes me happy! 7:00am and Im getting compliments on my manicure. Ive been crazy with the nails lately so I thought Id tone it down with a simple mani and I really like this lilac color, I have two coats on but could have used a third. Of course I had to do something to my ring finger so I added a flower sticker that I got in a pack from the dollar store for $1.29, cant beat that.

Ok so I havent been posting EVERYTHING I have been buying lately, partly cause my camera crapped out right after I started this blog...and partly because I dont want people thinking I spend my whole paycheck on nail supplies $$$ I know I'm not the only one with this sickness, so I continue on :)

From Sally Beauty Supply I got these glitter polishes for .99 cents each! They have a ton of colors so if you are just getting into nail art and want to expand our polish collection but don't want to spend a ton of money on polish these little guys are for you. They look small but have a ton of application in them and if you run out, they are only $1.

I got these large heart rhinestones from another beauty supply by my house, I really like them.

I was at the mall over the weekend and they have a Hello Kitty store so I stopped in and got these stickers along with a photo album, Im going to try and keep all my designs in there, Ill post that when Ive figured out how Im going to do it.

Playing with polish does leave my cuticles dry and Im on the hunt for a god cuticle oil so I picked this one up. I like the way it smells so hopefully Ive found something that works. Im going to start applying it everyday and see how it does.

TGIF- nails at lunchtime

TGIF Everyone!!! I spent my lunch today at work doing my friends/co-workers nails (second time this week) --the lunch hour is just enough time for a fun mani :)

First are Lauren's nails. She wanted a very feminine manicure and of course loved the bow stickers and wanted them for herself. I added Justin Bieber glitter and heart polish to the other ones.

I love doing my co-workers/friends' nails on our lunch hour every couple of weeks. I came in with my "all that sparkles" manicure and the pink bow stickers were all the rage so I did both Jasmin and Maile's nails with the super cute bow stickers.

all that sparkles

I couldn't wait to use my new black sparkly polish! I decided to layer two black polishes which ended up full of sparkles as you can see from the pictures. I included one that is blurry just so you can see the colors in the hologram polish. I added some ribbon stickers I got the other day to my ring finger and then a rhinestone right in the middle of the bow, the flash makes the sticker look whiteish but it's pale pink.

I love this little are on the Westside of LA on Sawtelle called "Little Osaka" there are a ton of restaurants including my favorite ramen placed called Chabuya. There are some really cute shops with all the Hello Kitty paraphernalia you could want and I found a cute little store with beauty supplies INCLUDING nail polish and stickers! So this is what I picked up.
